Focus/Responsibilities of this position:
The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for all manufacturing processes within the facility on their assigned shift. The Manufacturing Supervisor will oversee the production line, receiving, mix making, the spiral freezer, case packing and other areas as assigned. Routine responsibilities include staffing and directing the work of the manufacturing labor force, overtime control and management, ensuring the daily production schedule is met, enforcing standards & policy for quality, safety and running the shift according to all GMP rules.
Requirements for consideration:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Five years' experience with manufacturing line management
Must have experience in one or more of the following; food packaging, dairy, ingredients, or similar
Highly motivated with strong knowledge and experience in people management, production and operations flow
Self-starter; who can relate to company ownership, middle managers, line supervision and production employees
Excellent oral and written communication skills; execute training activities, communicate operations and production techniques
Good computer skills, especially in the areas of spreadsheets, word processing and internet research
Relate well with regulators, compliance officers and business vendors
Judgment and decision-making skills; Must exercise sound judgment and decision-making skills to advise employees properly, and understand both the financial and safety related impact of the decisions made

MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS:
1. 5+ years in food manufacturing related to dairy, yogurt or ice cream.
2. 3+ years working for a food manufacturer in a supervisory capacity.
